Marriage after dating 3 months
I live in Los Angeles, and a few years ago, I met a handsome Australian guy while he was visiting a friend here. Andrew had to go back to Australia for a teaching commitment, so we had a long-distance relationship for about a year. (I made him move on Valentine's Day--totally cheesy.)We got married in Vegas a couple of months later.
We fell in love in a week and decided to get married. Our first night, we stayed at Caesar's Palace, because I wanted him to get the full Vegas experience, and the second night at the Stardust. Then we were off on our honeymoon--a two-week road trip to Graceland. On our third anniversary, we went back to Vegas to renew our vows.
Again, there are a couple of reasons why taking too long is a bad sign: It’s not so much that people wait too long to get married, but that they stay in a relationship that never was built to last.

The reason I'm asking this, my friend I mentioned on another thread, just met a girl and had sex with her after only knowing her a week. I don't think they can work out, but there are some out there who prove they can.He spent 10 years saying, “well maybe after (insert life event) happens, things will get better.” They did counseling, they tried having a bunch of reconnecting vacations, all kinds of stuff. He says the marriage was never good and he knew a year before the separation that things were over. Then I come along…we met a month after she moved out (a lot of her stuff was still in the house, etc.but she had her own apartment) and we knew from when we met that it was different.
The thing is this: We are both in our early 30’s…I have never been married, he was married for 5 years, together for 10.
